an apron a day…

What’s the saying? An apple a day keeps the doctor away? After finishing this cutie, I think a word renovation is in store. I stitched this energetic little apron in hopes of giving my cousin a kick start in the kitchen. It’s amazing what a little motivation can do. I’ll give this to her at her upcoming bridal shower along with a copy of the Bride & Groom Cookbook from William-Sonoma. I was given a copy of this book as a wedding gift from my auntie and I love it so much that I’m going do the same for another bride-to-be. I’ve tucked one of my favorite (and ridiculously easy) recipes in the pocket. A rice, beans, and salsa meal. So, while an apple a day keeps the doctor away…an apron a day keeps a satisfied tummy!

I remember the black bean and salsa recipe I gave you during your college days. It is by far the easiest no brainer recipe I could find.

this apron is SO CUTE. who made the fabric?

  6. Heidi Says:

Thanks Kristen! Let’s see…I’m not sure of the designer but I purchased the fabric at G Street Fabric. Lesson learned…check the designer before chopping off the label!!
