jumping in
Well, here I am. I’ve officially jumped into the world wide web of blogging. I’ve been dipping my toes in for quite some time as I’ve enjoyed visiting blogs of all sorts. Thanks to a very HTML savvy friend, Kevin, I am now able to partake in the posting frenzy. So…who am I and what am I all about? Let me tell you…
My name is Heidi and here are a few things that I know: I am a daughter, a sister, a wife, an auntie, and a Fairy Godmother. I read magazines starting with the last page and wish to gaze out my window to see sheep grazing in my front yard someday. I’m a dog lover, pink high heeled shoe wearer, and “tough as nails,” as someone once told me. I look forward to the future by living in the moment, which brings me to why I started a blog in the first place. Stay tuned to see where it leads me and maybe, just maybe, I can inspire someone else as so many have done for me.
Something else I’ve recently “jumped” into…

Look at you just blogging away! I’m so proud of you and all the fun stuff you are creating, not to mention the great artsy fartsy pics that go along with it. I am really interested in reading more about this husband/chef/renaissance man that you mention. Love you beautiful!

Hi Heidi -
I love your website! You are mighty creative. In a few years, when I retire, I am going to finally get time to become “crafty” again . When that happens, I hope you’ll be patient with your Auntie and give me lots of ideas on how to make my yard sale aquisitions into awesome items. Can hardly wait.
XXOOXX,
Auntie S.

Hi Heidi -
Am I late for wishing you a happy birthday? Duh…. That’s the story of my life. One of my favorite sayings, “better late than never”. I hope it’s one of your’s too.
So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Hi Heidi,
Linda K passed this website along to me when I told her I was planning my daughter’s wedding in Oct. in a park in Md. Your ideas are amazing – one I will definitely use is the bird’s nest for the ring bearer. But more than that, it gave me a chance to get to know you a bit better. We smiled as we passed in the hallway at BST and spoke a little. There are so many people like me, both young and old whose days you brightened with your smile who are missing you and wishing you well. We are with you in spirit- you are always in our thoughts and prayers.
