black and white and read all over

From a very young age, my mother taught me a few good habits when it came to wrapping Christmas gifts.  Growing up, she would wrap all of the gifts that went under the tree in newspaper.  She would buy a bag of red bows to top off the gifts and add some Christmas color.  As you can see, I’ve followed in my mothers’ footsteps and added a little flair of my own.  And to think, my mom started this tradition in our family BEFORE ”going green” was popular.  Thanks mom!

Oh, and if you’re wondering what is inside of those pretty little packages…take a peak…

I made glass magnets with pretty fabric underneath.  Wanna learn how?  Just head over to Creative Outlet Designs for a detailed tutorial.

Tell Mama Loves thanks for the inspiration–none of my gifts are wrapped in store bought paper this year either! And thank you, Heidi for the hoot-i-ful magnets–they are so adorable. Of course, nothing beats a good night with friends–that was the best :)
